Upgraded SDK2 to SDK3 (new prefab)
The original scene (Assets/Templar/templar-fin 1.prefab) uses binary serialization, so it cannot be edited without Unity. Created 'Assets/templar-fin 1-VRCMods.prefab' and ready-to-open scene 'Assets/templar-fin 1-VRCMods.unity' instead: a prefab of the avatar model 'Assets/Templar/templar-fin.fbx' with a VRChat SDK3 Avatar Descriptor on its root and the viewpoint at 1.685 m in world (eye level), derived from the measured model height. Open the generated scene in Unity to upload the avatar - the original scene is left untouched. The new prefab preserves the original scene's 0.991x root scale.
Resized the avatar to 1.8 m
The new prefab overrides the model root's scale, from 0.17 to 0.991, so the avatar stands 1.8 m tall. In Unity, tweak the scale to your preference - we default to 1.8 m (about the size of an average human male).
Added multi-avatar upload instructions
The package contains 2 avatar roots, but binary scene data cannot be faithfully separated by the server-side patcher. Assets/VRCMods-Upload-Instructions.txt identifies the generated primary prefab and explains how to migrate each remaining root in Unity.

DEUS VULT!!
0ive fixed poly counts and all other problems with the help of someone who understands. but when spawning it in game it crashes the server, leaving me looking at myself as a red hologram from a third person view, blender is what i need to fix this?
0@youareastupidface you need to add the SDK yourself and you will also need to decimate it using blender or you can delete the sword, shield or cape to reduce poly count
0This isnt game ready for me, theres tons of things preventing me from uploading it and its driving me insane. can someone repost a 100 percent finished and edited version please.
0Does someone have a ready to go model? theres still things i need to do to this and i cant find them, like an avatar descriptor.

0You could try decimating in blender or removing parts that are not needed e.g. the cape, sword that kind of stuff. DEUS VULT
