click Window tab at top then click Mantis LOD editor then go to bottom right on inspector tab click Upload Mesh Data then change Quality from 100% to 47.5% then right click on the Mantis LOD Editor that you just adjusted & click Remove Component then clcik up top VRChat Build Control Panel and publish with it saying 19886polys. Enjoy
As for trying to make it less than 20k polys if youre not using the correct plugins or tools needed to adapt the model. if i can adjust from 44k to 20k without any major breaks in decimation im sure you can im not a professional but in 3months of training ive learnt alot.
I will be looking into this later as its ny first upload it said in unity it was 19800polys and uploadable with no faults. It started off at 44k i then used LOD editor to decimate it down to below 20k aswell as saved the scene so something must of gone wrong in the upload process. Ill have a new upload before end of today sorting out the faults
I'd also like to point out that it doesn't actually have any dynamic bones rigging. While the description says it does, the only way they'd be able to transfer it over to you is through a saved scene that is put in the package alongside the model itself. And unfortunately, this package doesn't have that. So either there are many mistakes upon the uploader's part, or the uploader didn't put in the effort they knew was needed and uploaded this model knowing that they were lying.
