Didn't ask for credit, didn't complain for you to take it down, didn't even say anything about myself. You instantly got defensive from that simple question cause you're bizarrely insecure about just admitting that something isn't completely original.
I'm not even asking for credit on the post or anything but you're being so defensive over something so meaningless.. I invented the root motion engine for looping movement. You can ask literally anyone that knows anything about this stuff. Get over it.
Not everyone uses my ideas but YOU did and it's more pathetic that you don't even want to acknowledge that even though it literally changes nothing. Like bro I'm not criticizing you for it I'm just pointing it out as fact. Get a grip.
We actually encourage people to iterate and make things of their own with our ideas. I wouldn't say anything if you weren't so completely obsessed with this lunatic idea that it's all 100% your original design.
Oof someone is defensive. I don't really mind that you're using our stuff it's just funny that you made it messier. If you're about to claim you just randomly thought of the root motion engine for movement then that's just laughable.
Alternatively you should just be able to add another material in unity and apply this shader to it since an "extra" material reference is just going to be the whole mesh regardless. Also yeah do credit Joyce @ minionsart: https://twitter.com/minionsart?lang=en
After some interesting interactions with how reflections are handled I've pushed a change that dims the reflections based on avg world light intensity.
Added the ability to tint the shadows. I've found a lot of baked light worlds to have very boring white or grey ambient lighting so this would allow you to still stylize your shadows there.
Pushed an update that may fix the oddity. Not sure though. The way the ramp is being handled has changed from previous iterations to more accurately represent Standard's lighting model so saturation may be from that. I'll have to do more testing with more environments to know for sure.
It should go without saying but nothing is ever going to fix the "late joiner desync" that occurs when someone new joins the room after you've toggled something. All that can be done is that you can either get everyone to the same state by repeatedly enabling or reset for everybody. That should "sync" people.
